IGP Jammu Zone Bhim Sen said that 4 terrorists were reported hiding in Bihali area of Basantgarh for the last one year. After getting their information at 8:30 am on Thursday morning, a search operation was conducted.
During this time, the terrorists started firing on security forces personnel. An unknown terrorist has been killed in retaliation. According to the source, there are 3 more terrorists in the area. Firing continues from both sides in the area.

5 terrorists and 6 Pakistani intruders killed in April
According to the army, the terrorists tried to infiltrate the LOC in the Uri sector.

3 encounters a month in Kathua

The third encounter took place near the Panjatirthi temple in Kathua on the night of 31 March. Three terrorists were reported to be hiding in the area. A terrorist was also killed, but did not officially confirm.
