Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) has announced a discount of 20 to 40 per cent on booking the rooms of its hotels. 40 to 50 percent occupancy is currently running at different tourist places of the state. It is reaching 60 to 90 percent on weekends. After this exemption, the fare of the rooms will be about half.

HPTDC has most of the rooms with 2 thousand to 6 thousand rupees daily rooms. A room of 2000 rupees will be available for 1200 rupees in hotels with up to 40 percent discounts. A room of 2000 rupees will now be Rs 1400 in hotels with 30 percent discounts and a room will be available for Rs 1600 at 20 percent discount.

Kasauli’s Rose Common, Narkanda’s Hotel Hatu, Chail Palace and Anexi, The Golf Glade in Naldehra, the hotel Manimahesh, Dalhousie’s Hotel Manimahesh, Gitanjali and Hotel Apple Blossom in Fagu will get a discount of up to 40 per cent.

The tourism corporation will have a discount of 20 per cent in Rohru’s Chandhal, Hotel Baghal, Rampur’s Bushehar Regency in Rampur, Hotel Silvermoon in Kullu and Sarwari, Hotel Srikhand in Sarahan and Hotel Rohtang Manalsu in Manali.
These hotels will not get discounts
This exemption will be available in all the hotels of the corporation except the hotel Chandrabhaga of Keylong, Chandrabhaga of Keylong, The Spiti in Kaja, Kinnar Kailash, Hotel Suket, Villi Park, Shimla, Champak and Hamir Hotel. During the famous Minjar fair of Chamba, there will be no discount at Hotel Iravati, Champak from July 27 to August 3 and Manimahesh Yatra from 11 August to 1 September at Hotel Gaurikund in Bharmour.
