According to the information, the Bagaha police had received secret information that a large stock of liquor has been hidden in a house in Birti village. As soon as the information was received, SP Sushant Kumar Saroj showed seriousness on this and a special team was immediately formed. The raid team was formed under the leadership of ASP Ramnagar Divyanjali Jaiswal, including other police officers.

As soon as the police team raided Anil Yadav’s house, a large quantity of English liquor cartons were recovered from there. The liquor was hidden by filling in plastic drums and sacks. At present, the police has arrested the accused and he is being questioned. On the basis of inquiry, an attempt is being made to find out from where this liquor was ordered and in which areas it was to be supplied.

It is worth noting that in Bihar since the year 2016, complete prohibition is in force, despite this, illegal liquor is being recovered continuously from different parts of the state.
