In order to make the post -mortem process fast and transparent in Uttar Pradesh, the Health Department has released new guidelines. On the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, now the post -mortem will be compulsorily completed in the post -mortem house across the state within a maximum of 4 hours. This decision has been taken especially with the aim of reducing the suffering of the afflicted families and bringing transparency in the process.

Under the new guidelines, the families of the victims will not have to wait much for post-mortem. Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak has given instructions to do the post -mortem in a maximum of four hours. On the instructions of the Deputy CM, Principal Secretary of the Health Department Partha Sarathi Sen Sharma has issued a new guideline regarding the post -mortem.

A new system has been implemented in post mortem house across the state. Now post mortem of the body will have to be done in a maximum of four hours. In the districts where a large number of post -mortem are being done, CMOs should make two or more doctors and do this work so that people do not have to wait long for the dead body.

The deputy CM said that after the sunset, post -mortem should be done as per rules. Related records along with the dead body should also be sent to the post -mortem house as soon as possible. In the case of post -mortem at night, 1000 watt lights should be arranged. Other important resources should also be sufficient, so that the post -mortem action continues for 24 hours.

Post mortem should not be done at night in cases related to murder, suicide, sexual offense, mutilated bodies and deaths under suspicious circumstances. However, in the unavoidable reasons, post -mortem can also be done at night on the permission of the District Magistrate and his authorized officer.

Videography money should not be taken from the family. Videography of post -mortem of post -mortem should be conducted in the first 10 years of law and order related cases, encounter, death in police custody, death of a woman in the first 10 years of marriage. According to the mandate, videography of post mortem under the panel must be done. Its money should not be taken from the afflicted families. Videography should be paid from Rogi Kalyan Samiti and other items.

The new guideline states that the post -mortem report should be reported online. There should not be any kind of kindness in this. The deputy CM said that a computer operator and two data entry operators should be deployed in the post -mortem house. A vehicle should be arranged to take the body to the post -mortem house from the hospital. CMO should arrange two dead bodies in every district. Along with this, women doctors should be compulsorily included in the post -mortem panel in the event of the death of a woman within the first 10 years of female crime, rape, marriage. DNA sampling should be done to identify unknown body.
