Ukraine Drone Attacks Destroyed S 400 in Cremia India to Have 2 More Russian Air Defense System by 2027

Ukraine has claimed that it has distinguished Russia’s air defense system S-400. The S-400 is an important weapon to protect them from air strikes and many countries including India have bought this weapon from him. The S-400 managed to stop the attacks of Pakistan during Operation Sindoor. However, these claims of Ukraine can increase the tension of all the countries including India, which have this air defense system.

According to the report by The Kiev Independent, Ukraine’s intelligence agency HUR said that Ukrainian drone attacked Russian-occupied Crimea air defense equipment, destroying the radar unit and damage to the components of the S-400 defense system. HUR has also posted a video footage of the attack on Telegram. Crimea has been important for it since Russia’s possession in 2014.

HUR targeted the S-400 in Crimea with a suicidal drone. The attack destroyed two 91n6e Big Bird radar, which joins Russia’s S-400 air defense network as a warning system. According to HUR, two multitater 92n2e, two 91n6e detection radar and S-400 launcher have also been destroyed in drone attacks.

HUR said that radar air defense systems have eyes, without which they remain ineffective. 91n6e Big Bird is considered to be the backbone of S-400, which is designed to give information about air threats ranging from ballistic missiles to stealth aircraft.

India has recently talked to Russia on the delivery of S-400 air defense system. On 26-27 June, Rajnath Singh met Russia’s Defense Minister Andre Belosov on the sidelines of the Shanghai Corporation Organization (SCO) conference held in Kingdao, China, in which the S-400 air defense system supply, SU-30 MKI upgradation and purchase of other weapons were discussed.

In the year 2018, India signed an agreement of Rs 40 thousand crore to buy S-400 air defense system with Russia. Under this, India was to be given five S-400 air defense systems by 2023, but the war of Russia and Ukraine started and the defense system could not be delivered. India currently has three S-400 squadrons, which are deployed in North West and East to prevent the dangers of Pakistan and China.

The Times of India quoted a senior army officer as saying that the Russian Defense Minister in Kingdao has given Rajnath Singh to deliver two and S-400 Squadron delivery by 2027, one of which will reach India by 2026 and the other by 2027.
