In fact, at least three corruption cases have been filed in Israel against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Benjamin Netanyahu is accused that he took bribe while living in different ministries at different times, cheated, broke the trust of the country, for expensive gifts and in return, they gave big benefits to the traders.
What are the allegations against Israeli Prime Minister in three cases,
In the case 1000, Netanyahu is accused that he benefited from the trillion businessman Ornon Milchain while being the Minister of Communications and in return took a jewelery gift of about two million dollars, champagne and wife Sarah Netanyahu in jewelery gifts.
In addition, in the case 2000, Netanyahu is accused of dealing with his owner Arnon Moses to print the news of his wish in a big Israeli newspaper, Yedioth Ahronoth and imposed several restrictions to stop the growth of Israel Hyom, the opponent of Arnon Moses.
At the same time, in the case 4000, Netanyahu is also accused of benefiting from Israeli telecommunication company Bejik and in return, he and his wife’s positive coverage.
At present, two cases have not reached the trial
The rest of the case 1270 alleged that Netanyahu offered a judge to become Israel’s Attorney General to close a case against his wife, while the case 3000 alleged that Netanyahu’s family members were benefited in buying submarine and other weapons from the German company. However, both these cases have not reached the trial.
Court is continuously summoned, Netanyahu is asking for times again and again
One of the three cases reached the court for a case of 1000 case, the District Court of Jerusalem is summoning Prime Minister Netanyahu in the court, but Netanyahu is repeatedly seeking time from the court. The trial of this case was to start from May, 2020, but it continued to avoid. Netanyahu’s team continued to appeal to postpone the hearing and the court accepted the appeal.
Court rejected one application of Netanyahu, decision remains on another
However, this time it is not so. Just on June 26, the lawyer of Prime Minister Netanyahu had applied to the court to postpone the hearing for two months, but the court rejected the application. Now Netanyahu’s lawyer has again applied to the court on 27 June and said that the Prime Minister is currently resolving diplomatic complications and his next two weeks is very busy, so hearing should be exempted. His next two -week schedule has also been produced in the court on behalf of Netanyahu.
If the guilty found in court, Netanyahu may be sentenced to 10 years
However, the court has not given any decision on this second request. But one thing is certain that even though it takes a while, it takes some more time, but the Israeli Prime Minister will have to stand in the court’s dock and will have to give his clarification on his three cases i.e. case 1000, case 2000 and case 4000. If Benjamin Netanyahu is found guilty in these cases, then he can be sentenced to at least 10 years.
