Rishabh Pant has achieved the best rank of Test career. They are at number seven.
Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant may join the special list of veterans like Don Bradman, Rahul Dravid and Brian Lara with another century. The second Test will begin on July 2 in Edgbaston against England. In the first Test played in Leeds, Pant scored a century in both innings. He scored 134 and 118 runs. However, India lost this match by 5 wickets.
Dravid can become other Indians after Dravid
If Pant scored another century in Edgbaston Test, he will become only the seventh foreign batsman to score a century in three consecutive Tests in England. The list has so far included Don Bradman, Warren Bardsley, Charles Macartney, Rahul Dravid, Brian Lara and Derryl Mitchell.
Rahul Dravid is the only Indian to achieve this achievement, who scored consecutive centuries in Nottingham (115 runs), Leeds (148 runs) and The Oval (217 runs) in 2002. Derryl Mitchell did this in 2022 in Lord’s (108 runs), Nottingham (190 runs) and Leeds (109 runs).
