Its engine generates maximum power of 82 bhp and peak torque of 114 Nm. The price of Exter’s Knight Edition ranges from Rs 8.38 lakh to Rs 10.15 lakh (ex-showroom). Some features of this micro SUV have been given for the first time in this segment. It has six airbags, anti-lock braking system, electronic brake distribution, parking sensors, central locking, emergency stop signal and high-speed alert as standard.
It also has the option of 1.2 liter bi-fuel petrol and CNG engine, which can generate 69 PS power and 95.2 Newton meter torque. It is available in both manual and automatic variants. Its design is based on Hyundai’s new design system, which has a split headlamp setup with H-shaped LED DRL. There is a turn indicator at the top and a headlamp cluster at the bottom. Exter gives a mileage of 19.4 kmpl with manual transmission, 19.2 kmpl with automatic transmission and 27.1 kmpl in CNG.

Hyundai has removed the Kona Electric from its website. It was not updated since launch. The company has said that it will launch its new electric vehicle early next year. This will be the electric version of Creta. Hyundai plans to launch four EVs in the country. Recently Creta sales had crossed 10 lakh units. The company also plans to create a local supply chain for critical components of the EV.
