Hosbole said, ‘During this emergency, two words were added to the preface of the Constitution of India. We know that he was not in the preamble of secularism and socialism. Dattatreya Hosbole was just saying that the opposition shared and attacked the RSS and BJP. Shiv Sena Uddhav faction MP Sanjay Raut came a step ahead of Rahul and said that when the RSS had supported the Emergency, Aditya Thackeray described Hosbole’s statement as diverting attention to the language dispute of Maharashtra.
What did Shivraj Singh Chauhan say?
Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan supported Hosbole’s statement and obeyed the controversy. Shivraj said, ‘Sarva Dharma is the root of Indian culture. Secular is not the origin of our culture and hence it must be considered that the word secular was added in the emergency, it should be removed. Survey Bhawant Sukhna Survey Santu Niramaya, this is the basic sense of India. And so it is not the need of socialism. We are saying since years ago, Siya Rama considered everyone the same. Therefore, the word socialism is also not required. The country should definitely consider this.
