New Delhi. The Sri Lankan team took the match against Bangladesh on the fourth day in Colombo by an innings and 78 runs. After drawing the first Test, Bangladesh team was reduced to just 247 runs in the first innings in Colombo and in the second innings it became worse. Sri Lanka settled the entire team for just 133 runs.

The Bangladesh team has suffered an embarrassing defeat on the tour of Sri Lanka. In the first match played in Gaul, the team that gave a tough competition kneeled in Colombo. Batting first, Bangladesh’s team was able to score only 247 runs due to poor batting. Opener Shadman Islam scored the highest 46 runs while veteran Mushfiqur Rahim scored 35 runs. Bangladeshi bowlers appeared helpless in front of Pathum Nisanka’s strong century innings. Alone scored 158 runs, he got the support of Dinesh Chandimal and played an innings of 93 runs, he took Sri Lanka to 458 runs.
