Kolkata law college case: A case of gang rape has come up inside the college with a 24 -year -old student studying in a law college in Kolkata. According to the police, the incident was carried out by an alumni and two senior students. The incident occurred on 25 June (Wednesday) evening.
The victim said that the three accused kept her locked in the guard room and physically abused her for about three hours. Rape has also been confirmed in medical examination. The police arrested the three accused and produced them in the court, from where they have been sent to police custody for four days.

3. The main accused was practicing in Alipur court: The main accused is an alumni of the college and a criminal lawyer practicing in Alipur court. According to college sources, he was also recently connected to the college as a staff on a 45 -day contract. Two other accused are students of the same college and are senior to the victim.
4. The accused claims to be associated with Trinamool Congress: It is being said that the main accused describes himself as the college unit president of the Trinamool Congress Students Council and the organization secretary of South Kolkata Wing. Many of his pictures have also come out with the big TMC leaders of the state. However, TMC has denied having any connection with him and said that if he is found guilty, he should be punished severely.
5. Initial investigation by police made a big disclosure: According to the news agency PTI, initial police investigation has revealed that the victim came to the college to fill the examination form on Wednesday afternoon, where the accused intentionally stopped her. Then after the class was over, he took him to the guard room and tortured him for more than three hours. The guard room, the students are near the union office.

The main accused made marriage pressure on the victim: According to the complaint lodged at Kasba police station, the main accused first put pressure on the victim to marry, which he rejected by saying that he was already in a relationship. After this, the three accused together dragged him to the guard room of the college, where the main accused raped, while two other accused were present on the spot and monitored the door.
7. The victim gave this big information: According to the victim, this incident started around 7:30 pm and lasted till 10:30 pm. During this time the main gate of the college was closed and the security guard was seated outside the room.
8. Threatened to make the video viral video given to the victim: According to the FIR, the most serious allegation is that video recording of the entire rape incident was done and the victim was threatened that if she told anyone, the video would be put on the internet. At the same time, his boyfriend was threatened to harm her and his parents in a false case.
9. Police sent phones of accused for forensic investigation: The police have seized the mobile phones of the accused and sent it for forensic investigation to find out whether the video was not sent anywhere else.
10. Marks of injuries found on the victim’s body: Police officials have confirmed that the medical report has given signs of forced physical relations and injuries, which confirm the victim’s statement.
