Air India has asked 4 employees of its ground handling venture AISATS to resign. This action has been taken with a viral video, in which these employees are seen dancing in the office after the Air India Flight AI 171 incident in Ahmedabad.
Air India issued a statement on Friday saying, ‘We are standing with full condolences with families affected by the tragic incident of AI 171. The conduct showed in the viral video is against our company’s policy. We have taken strict disciplinary action against the responsible people.
The airline has not clarified when and which office is the video. At the same time, media reports are claiming that this video is on June 20, 8 days after the incident, in which the employees are partying in the Gurugram office of AISATS.
In fact, a flight AI 171 from Ahmedabad to London collided with a medical hostel building shortly after the takeoff. It killed 270 people, including 241 passengers and crew members. A passenger is left alive in this accident.
Flight number AI-171 flew on June 12 at 1.38 pm and the accident occurred at 1.40 pm. At that time the plane was at an altitude of 200 feet.

DGCA ordered the removal of 3 officers of Air India
On June 21, DGCA ordered Air India to remove 3 officers. These included Divisional Vice President Chuda Singh, Crew Scheduling Chief Manager Pinky Mittal and Crew Scheduling Planning Planning.
This action was taken against the three officers for serious violations of the aviation safety protocol. DGCA ordered Air India to remove them from the rolls associated with crew scheduling and roperation with immediate effect.

Pilot made a medium call
According to FutureDar 24, the last signal of the aircraft was found at an altitude of 190 meters (625 ft), which was immediately after the flying. India’s Civil Aviation Regulator DGCA reported that the aircraft flew from runway 23 at 1:39 pm on June 12. After flying, the aircraft sent a medium call (emergency message) to the air traffic controller, but after that no reply was received.
According to DGCA, there were a total of 242 people in the aircraft, including two pilots and 10 cabin crew. The pilot had an experience of 8,200 hours and the co-pilot had 1,100 hours of flight experience.
