India and France Army Shakti Exercise: During the shared exercise power-VIII (18 June-July), a 96-hour field drill has been organized during the shared exercise power-VIII (18 June-July) at La Kavelri, France. Electronic warfare and drone warfare were specially included in this exercise in Semi-Araban area.
Joint military exercise power-VIII continues to strengthen operating intermediateness and mutual cooperation between VIII, Indian and French forces. Campa Laarzac in southern France, La Cavalary, the exercise has 90 soldiers of the Jammu and Kashmir Rifles (Jackerf) Battalion. Exercise includes the 13th Demi-Brigade D Lizzian Atrangeer of the French Army.
Many experts of the armies of both countries involved in training
During the exercise, the semi-urban i.e. semi-developed terrain includes crossing difficult obstacles and joint patrolling. Expert squads, electronic warfare and counter-human-free aerial system (UAV) of the armies of the two countries are involved in training, including signal blockage, jamming, spectrum control and drone-disinfection exercises.
According to the Indian Army, a 96-hour high-intensity joint field exercise was successfully conducted during War-Game, with multi-domain operations and tested for stamina, decision making and coordination in a constant high pressure event.
Through exercise, the forces of India and France exchanged each other’s best practice (best practices). According to the army, power exercise is an important platform for the development of integrated operating capabilities and deepening military to military confidence.
What is Shakti Exercise,
Shakti enhances exercise, strategic and technical coordination and contributes to comprehensive regional safety and strategic-agricultural alignment. Also, there is an important opportunity to promote cooperation and understanding between the two armies and will help strengthen regional security and stability.
Indian ambassador visited exercise area
India’s Ambassador to France Sanjeev Singhala visited the exercise area and interacted with Indian soldiers. Signla praised the professionalism of Indian soldiers and appreciated the contribution to strengthen India-France defense cooperation.
