Political rhetoric has intensified due to alleged inhuman behavior with the assistant priest of the Yadav fraternity in Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh. In this case, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, while taking a tough stand, said that the state government gives the top priority to law and order and no one is allowed to take the law in hand.
On the question asked by ‘Aaj Tak’ that the top of an assistant priest was cut, the head was shaved and the women were rubbed. On this, Brajesh Pathak bluntly said that there is a rule of law in Uttar Pradesh. The intention of the government is clear that the law will not be allowed to weaken under any circumstances. The law is doing its work in this incident and the government has no intervention in it.

He also said that we have seen videos of many storytellers, in which objectionable things have been said to Lord Hanuman. Especially the comment made by Hemraj Yadav for Hanuman ji is very objectionable. I do not even want to repeat that statement.
When asked whether a person coming from Yadav or OBC community could be a priest, the deputy CM clarified, in Sanatan Dharma, great men like Maharishi Valmiki and Ved Vyas composed texts, while they were not Brahmins. The Brahmin society never chooses derogatory words about its great men.
PDA means ‘Family Development Party’
Attacking the SP, he said that during the SP’s reign, incidents like boasting, murder, robbery increase. The same old scene was once again seen in the Etawah incident. SP’s PDA (Backward, Dalit, Minority) model is just a fraud. This is actually ‘Family Development Party’.
Brajesh Pathak finally said that all narrators should be respected, but if someone hurts religious sentiments or tries to spread hatred in society, it will not be tolerated. There is no place of such incidents in Sanatan culture nor within the purview of law.
