Pakistan Earthquake: The 5.3 magnitude earthquake was felt in Pakistan on Sunday (29 June 2025). According to the German Research Center for Geochens (GFZ), the earthquake was at a depth of 10 km of the ground. Reuters quoted the Euro-Bhumadhyagya Earthquake Science Center as saying that the epicenter of the earthquake was located 149 km west of the city of Multan. The earthquake occurred around 3.54 am (IST). No immediate report of any casualties or losses from the earthquake was found. Pakistan is located on the border of Indian and Eurasian tectonic plates, so earthquake in the country is a regular phenomenon.
