Taking major action against mobile theft, Rachakonda Police Commissionerate of Hyderabad has recovered 1,130 stolen or lost mobile phones in the last two months, which have been priced at about three and a half crore rupees. Police made this recovery with the help of Central Equipment Identity Registry i.e. CEIR portal, which tracks the missing mobile through IMEI number.
