Karnataka murder case: A case of embarrassing humanity has come to light in Tumkuru district of Karnataka. A woman brutally murdered her own husband in Kadashtaihalli village of Tipatur taluk and threw her body about 30 km away.
The deceased has been identified as 50 -year -old Shankaramurthy. It is being told that his wife Sumangala, who used to work as a cook at Kalpataru College Girls Hostel in Tipatur. He hatched this dreadful conspiracy with his lover Nagaraju (resident of Kardalunte village).
Pick powder inserted into her husband’s eyes
According to the police, on June 24, Sumangala first put chilli powder in her husband’s eyes, then beaten with a wooden pole and finally pressed her throat with her foot. After the murder, both of them locked the body in a sack and threw it into a garden well in Turuvekere Taluk of Dandanishivara police station area.
Report of missing in police station
The case came to light after Shankaramurthy’s disappearance. Earlier, a missing report was lodged at the Nawinkere police station, but during the investigation, the police found marks of chilli powder stains and struggle on the bed in the deceased’s farmhouse, which deepened the doubt. When the police investigated Sumangla’s call detail records, the whole matter was revealed.
During interrogation, Sumangala confessed her crime. It was revealed that Shankaramurthy opposed his wife’s illicit relationship, due to which he was murdered. Currently, a case has been registered at Navinkere police station and the police is engaged in further investigation. This is not the first case in recent times, in which the wife has killed her husband with the help of a lover. Prior to this, the case of Sonam Raghuvanshi and Raja and before that the case of smile has come to light.
