According to a police officer, in Latur district of Maharashtra, a person accustomed to liquor on Sunday strangled his four -year -old daughter to death, as he asked for money to buy chocolate. Police said that the accused has been identified as Balaji Rathore, who has been arrested after the incident on charges of murder.

Father is addicted to alcohol
Rathore was addicted to alcohol, due to which there were frequent quarrels in his family. His wife left him and started living with her father. In the afternoon, his daughter Aarushi asked for money to buy chocolate. Angry, he strangled her to death with a sari.

Rathore’s wife Varsha has demanded death penalty for her husband. The accused is a resident of Bhima Tanda of Udgir taluka in Latur district. The police have registered an FIR on the complaint of his wife and arrested her. Further action is being taken in the case.
