In Begusarai, Bihar, a brother -in -law cut his brother -in -law with a spade in broad daylight and killed him with Behrimi. The incident is of scissors turn of Teghra police station area. The deceased has been identified as Lungi Manjhi, a resident of Patna district. While the accused who carried out the incident has been identified as Pahlaj Manjhi, a resident of Lakhisarai district.
The police have arrested Pahlaj Manjhi. It is said that the family of brother -in -law and brother -in -law came to stay at the house of the deceased’s maternal uncle on scissors mode a week ago and both used to work as wages in the chimney kiln. This afternoon, both of them slept in a room at around 3 pm. It is alleged that then brother -in -law Manjhi hit his brother -in -law, Manjhi twice on his head, which led to the death of Lungi Manjhi on the spot.
On receiving the information of the incident, Teghra police station under the leadership of Teghra DSP Ravindra Mohan Prasad reached the spot and inspected the spot and started further action. The police have also recovered the blood -stained hoe used in the murder from the incident site. Along with this, the FSL team has been called which is collecting evidence from the spot. After doing paperwork, the police have sent the body to Begusarai Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
Regarding the incident, the family members said that the deceased and the accused were sleeping in the same room at 3 pm on Sunday. Meanwhile, the accused attacked the deceased’s neck two times in a sleeping state, due to which he died on the spot. The younger son of the deceased made noise, then the people of the house came to know about the incident. However, what is the reason for the incident, it is not clear nor the family is able to give any reason. Now only after the police investigation, it will be clear that the brother -in -law has murdered the brother -in -law. Teghra DSP Ravindra Mohan Prasad said that the brother -in -law has been killed by the brother -in -law. The accused has been arrested and further investigation is being done.
