The Archaeological Department has found the remains related to Mahabharata, Maurya and Sunga period during the excavation in Bahj village in Deeg tehsil of Bharatpur district of Rajasthan. Excavation found earthen pots, sculptures, metal weapons and a male skeleton. The skeleton has been sent to Israel for investigation, so that scientific assessment of his age can be done.
