Tamil nadu crime woman suicide: The news of a 27 -year -old woman Ridhanya’s suicide in Tirupur district of Tamil Nadu shook the entire state. The deceased woman was married to a young man named Kavinkumar in April 2 months ago, in which 100 sovereign (about 800 grams) gold and ₹ 70 lakh was given as dowry, but this marriage became a bad dream for her.
Ridhanya’s father Annadurai runs a garment company. He left no shortage in his daughter’s marriage. Despite this, Ridhanya was tortured mentally and emotionally, resulting in suicide on Sunday (29 June 2025).
Suicide by pretending to go to the temple
Ridhanya told her family members that she was going to the Mondipalam temple, but it became her last journey. He stopped his car on the way and ate pesticide bullets. When the local people found the car standing for a long time, they informed the police. When the police reached the spot, Ridhanya was found dead, foam was coming out of his mouth, which was confirming the poison.
WhatsApp Audio Message
Before his death, Ridhanya sent 7 WhatsApp audio messages to his father, which highlights the seriousness of this whole matter. She told that she was tired of the mental harassment of her husband and in -laws. In a message, he said: “I am not able to bear their daily mental torture. Everyone wants me to compromise, but now I am not suffering.” She clarified that she is not lying and everyone is pretending around her. These audio messages not only reflect her suffering, but also condemn the social environment where the victim is convicted.
Police action arrested three, investigation continues
After Ridhanya’s death, the police immediately took action and arrested her husband Kavinkumar, father -in -law Ishwar and mother -in -law Chitradevi. The case has been accused of dowry harassment and abetment of suicide. According to police sources, these accused are being questioned and audio messages sent by Ridhanya have also been included in the case as evidence.
