The husband of a deceased said-
My wife kept asking for water. Nobody was going to listen. The police did not get help. My wife died due to the negligence of the administration.
Eyewitnesses said that the system near the temple was deteriorated since night. The polythene on which the devotees were sitting on the rain became slippery, causing people to fall.

Earlier on Friday (June 27), more than 625 devotees deteriorated due to increased pressure of the crowd around the chariot of Goddess Subhadra. According to the administration, 70 people were admitted to the hospital. The condition of 9 of these is said to be critical.
Rescue workers rushed him to the medical center after a devotee’s health deteriorated during the journey on Saturday.
