What is the recognition associated with Mansarovar Lake?

Kailas is also mentioned in Ramayana and Manas
Kailas is also mentioned in Ramkatha. In the Ramayana, it is said to describe Ravana’s Pratap that he used to visit Mahadev Shiva from Lanka to Kailas every day. One day he came with the Kucheta to take Shiva from Kailas. Ravana tried to carry Kailas on his hand, but Mahadev Shiva only pressed the toe and pressed Kailas, in which Ravana’s hands were also suppressed and he screamed. Then he created Shiva Tandava source in this state of terrible pain and immediately narrated to Shiva. Shiva recognized this source and also included it in his worship to be done with devotion.
Kailas is also the city of Kubera
It is said that Kubera’s palace was earlier the golden palace of Lanka, but Ravana captured that palace and fired Kubera from there. Then Kubera returned to Kailas in the shelter of Shiva and then he also established his new city here. Therefore, Kailas is also called the pilgrimage site of Kubera. It is said that Amravati of Kubera is in Kailas. In Sanatan, Kailas is considered to be the axis of the universe, and its four directions are connected to gems. Kailas Mansarovar is also important in Shakta tradition
Mansarovar Lake is considered to be the bathing site of the gods, and bathing in it purifies sins. According to mythology, Ganga comes out of the feet of Lord Vishnu and reaches Kailas and is contained in Shiva’s jatas. Kailas and Mansarovar are also mentioned in the Mahabharata. It is also recorded that the Pandavas also traveled to Mansarovar. In the Shakta tradition, it is considered one of the 51 Shaktipeeths, where the right hand of Goddess Sati fell.
Kalpavriksha is on the banks of Mansarovar
Apart from this, there is also a recognition of the presence of Kalpavriksha in Kailas itself. This is the same Kalpavriksha where her daughter Ashok Sundari was born with the mere imagination of Goddess Parvati and with the imagination of this Kalpavriksha, Shree Ganesha descended in the form of childhood. This story is also in Shivpuran, in which it is told that Goddess Parvati made a child statue from her boil and imagined her to be alive by sitting under Kalpavriksha. The real form of this imagination is Vinayak, who got the privilege of being a leader in the Ganas and he was called Ganesh. This sacred development has also happened on Kailas and Mansarovar is a witness to it.
Kailas Mansarovar Tirtha is also described in Harivansh Purana
In the Harivansh Purana, written by Maharishi Ved Vyas, Kailas has been described as the biggest and important pilgrimage and it is also said that the virtue of all other pilgrimages is also from this pilgrimage. While narrating the story of Mahabharata to Vaishmpayan sage King Janmejaya, tells the secret of Kailas and tells that this mountain is a true Shiva form. In chapter 84 of the Harivansh Purana, Shri Krishna described the importance of Kailas and described it as the Shivpuja site of Kubera, the Tapasthali, who settled in the attention of the sages. Mansarovar is described as the abode of golden winged swans, as well as which is going to give water to the Ganges-Yamuna, Karnali rivers, whose other pilgrimage is also sacred with water. On Kailas itself, Mahavishnu got the Sudarshan Chakra with the self -power of Shiva and the place is the center of every change of nature.,
Kailas is also sacred in Buddhism
Mount Kailas itself is a light form and it can only remember Shiva. The means of concentrating the mind is also Kailas. Through these words of concentration and liberation, Kailas is also associated with Buddhism. A form of Buddha is Avlokiteshwar in Buddhism. These are Bodhisattva, which are considered to be the form of knowledge. Mount Kailash is considered a sacred place in Tibetan Buddhism, which is considered to be the abode of Avlokiteshwar.
Avlokiteshwar means God who appears everywhere. It is also called God to see everyone in another sense. It is the most calm, uninterrupted, full of compassion and full form of knowledge. The water of Mansarovar lake is considered to be the liquid form of compassion of Avlokiteshwar. ‘Om Mani Padme Hum’ is the most important mantra of Tibetan Buddhism, which means ‘the shining gem in the heart lotus is eternal.’ This entire meaning indicates to Kailas. The Dalai Lama is said to be connected to Avlokiteshwar.
Kailas is also important for Tibetan Bon followers
The Tibetan name of Kailas is’ Gang Rin Pache, which means excellent gem. This mountain has also been a holy pilgrimage of the followers of Tibetan Dharma Bon Po, established before Buddhism by Bon Po. Zang Jung, a follower of Bon Po, has been worshiping the god of my name. Followers of Buddhism believe that Buddha (Anavatap) made many trips to this mountain and meditated here. Buddhist sage Padmasambhava brought the Tantric sect of Buddhism in Tibet in the 7th-8th century. It is believed that he defeated the Bon Po sect in his elusive duality war and also named a local mountain named Bonn with a handful of snow. In Bon Dharma, Kailash is considered to be the abode of Sipamen (Goddess of the sky).
Importance of Kailas in Jain tradition
Kailas also holds an important place in the Jain tradition. The Mount of Kailas, who believes in Jainism, calls Mount Meru. Meru has a meaning of spine and the spine is called Riju in Sanskrit, Riju is used for simple and high paradigm in the blood. The straight line is called Riju Rekha. In this way Kailas becomes the Riju mountain which is also the focal point of the earth. It is believed that his first Tirthankara Rishabhdev Ji traveled to this place and got nirvana on a mountain called Ashtapad here.
Site of religious importance
Kailas has also got significant status in the Sikh tradition. In the posts of the first Guru, Gurunanak Dev, there is a mention of Mount Kailas many times, which also describes his journey. In Sikhism, Kailas Mansarovar is considered sacred and it is connected to the visits of Guru Nanak Dev. The trips of Guru Nanak Dev, called sadness, were to spread the message of peace, love and equality around the world. He gave the message of Ik Omkar (one God) and his message was uninterrupted.
