Most parts of India are expected to receive more than normal rainfall in July. The Meteorological Department gave this information on Monday. Also, people of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Haryana have been advised to be vigilant with floods.
Meanwhile, many parts of the country are seeing huge losses due to monsoon. Landslides are happening in Himachal Pradesh due to rain. Due to this, buildings are falling in many places and roads are getting jammed.
The Meteorological Department has described the threat of flash flood in parts of Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, Mandi, Shimla, Solan and Sirmaur districts of Himachal. The rain will continue in the state till July 6.
Due to a sharp increase in the water level of major rivers in Odisha, the state government has started removing people from the low -lying areas of Balasore and Mayurbhanj districts and has started relief and rescue operations.
Delhi-NCR received light to moderate rainfall from Sunday night to Monday morning, which recorded a drop in temperature and also cleared the wind. Many parts of Chandigarh, Punjab and Haryana also received rain. Chandigarh recorded 70.5 mm rainfall in the last 24 hours.

MP: Warning of heavy rains, Bhopal, Jabalpur-Gwalior

How will the weather of the country be on 1 July
- There is a possibility of heavy rains in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh. There will be an orange alert of heavy rain here.
- There will be a red alert of too much rainfall in the northeastern states including Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim. Landslide in Meghalaya and flood situation in Assam.
- The red alert of very heavy rainfall continues till 1-3 July in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh. Some districts of both states may receive up to 4.5 inches of rain in 24 hours.
- Orange alerts may remain in coastal states like Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana. There is a possibility of very heavy rainfall in Thrissur, Malappuram, and Kozhikode districts of Kerala.
- Orange alert continues in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha. There will also be rain in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa.

Rajasthan: 4 killed due to lightning, car in Sirohi
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert of rain in 29 districts on 1 July for Rajasthan. Apart from this, from July 2, a new system in the state is active and its impact has predicted rain in all districts of Rajasthan.

Bihar: Rain alert in 38 districts including Patna
