He said, “It may take a few months to start service even after getting approval.”
Internet will reach remote areas of the country
Preparations are in full swing to start high-speed internet service through satellite in India. Starlink, Onweeb and SES- These three big companies are engaged in the mission to deliver internet to remote areas of the country. These include hilly areas, villages and areas where good internet service has not yet reached.
Dr. Pawan Goenka gave this trust
Dr. Pawan Goenka, Chairman of IN-Space, expressed confidence that the joint efforts of these companies will improve internet access across the country. He said that where traditional broadband networks cannot reach remote areas, satellite internet can become a better option. The Government of India is also working rapidly towards providing digital inclusion i.e. internet to all. In-space is playing an important role in bringing private companies forward in the space sector and giving technical approval.
When will Starlink’s Internet service start in India?
This big step is being taken at a time when India’s space sector is moving very fast. Now India has also become an important country for foreign companies. This shows that a big company like Spacex comes to India.
However, the Internet service of Starlink will not start immediately, but the approval and license received is a big success. As the rest of the process will be completed, the hope of reaching the internet in the villages and remote areas of the country is also increasing.
Dr. Pawan Goenka said that India is now trying to connect everyone. India is moving towards a strong digital future with space technology and world companies.
