Amid discussion of CM change in Karnataka, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said on Monday- This decision is completely in the hands of the high command. Actually, on Sunday, Karnataka Congress MLA H.A. Iqbal Hussain had said that Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar may get a chance to become the Chief Minister of the state in the coming two-three months. Since then, speculation of changing CM started in Karnataka.

Congress MLA Basavaraju V Shivganga claimed on March 2 that Deputy CM DK Shivkumar will become the Chief Minister in the coming December. At least the next 7.5 years will remain CM.

Karnataka Home Minister said- Siddaramaiah was elected Chief Minister for 5 years

In the whole case, Karnataka Home Minister Ji Parmeshwar said that Siddaramaiah was elected the leader of the Congress Legislature Party for the entire five years.
