If you live in Delhi and your car is more than 15 years old, then be a little careful before leaving home today. In the capital Delhi, strict action has been started against End-off-Life Vehicles (Eol) i.e. the deadline which has been completed.
Owners will be fined 10 thousand rupees
Now petrol trains more than 15 years old and diesel trains older than 10 years will neither be allowed to walk on the roads nor will they get fuel. The Delhi government has implemented strict provisions for the arrest and seizure of these old vehicles. If such a vehicle is caught, the owner will have to fill an invoice of Rs 10,000. At the same time, the seizure of the two -wheelers whose age has been completed will be fined Rs 5,000.

Ban on oil filling and police stationed
350 petrol pumps of Delhi have been identified under this campaign. Of these, Delhi Police teams will be deployed at 100 most busy petrol pumps. Transport Department officials will monitor 59 pumps. At the same time, joint teams will be deployed at 91 sensitive petrol pumps, which will have both Delhi Police and Transport Department. Municipal Corporation (MCD) employees will monitor 100 less sensitive pumps.
62 lakh vehicles of Delhi in EOL category
According to Vahaan Database, there are about 62 lakh vehicles in Delhi which now come under the category of EOL. These include 41 lakh two -wheelers and 18 lakh four -wheelers. There are a large number of such vehicles in other districts of NCR. These include 27.5 lakh in Haryana, 12.4 lakh in Uttar Pradesh and 6.1 lakh in Rajasthan. The intention of the government regarding this campaign is clear- to control pollution, removes old and poisonous smoke from the roads.
