Karnataka CM Row Mallikarjun kharge said high command will decide to change Chief Minister BJP Target Congress Ann | ‘High command will decide to change CM’, said Kharge, BJP asked

Karnataka CM row: Amid speculation of Congress leadership change in Karnataka, party president Mallikarjun Kharge made it clear that any decision related to the post of Chief Minister will be taken only by the party high command. His statement has come at a time when the speculation of alleged factionalism within the ruling Congress in the state and the conversion of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in October has intensified.

Some Congress leaders believe that any kind of change in the leadership at this time can cause long -term damage to the Congress organization. Amid emerging political dissatisfaction in Karnataka, Congress’s Karnataka in -charge and general secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala has started meetings with MLAs. According to sources, Surjewala is taking feedback personally from all MLAs, ministers, MPs, district presidents and senior leaders to understand and resolve the situation within the party.

‘Nobody knows what is going on in the high command’
On the question of journalists in Bengaluru, Kharge said, “Look, this decision is in the hands of the high command. No one knows what is going on in the high command. The high command has full rights to take the decision, but unnecessarily, no one should stand a problem.”

BJP surrounds Congress
This statement of Kharge is being seen as a clear indication of priority and central control of the party leadership decision. On which the BJP has got a chance to retaliate. Reacting to the statement of the Congress President, the BJP has launched a scathing attack. Senior party leader and Union Minister Prahlad Joshi said, “Kharge himself is the national president of the Congress and is still talking about ‘high command’. It is clear what is the situation within the Congress. What is the high command other than the national president?”

‘There is nothing to change in CM’s face’
On the other hand, Minister Priyank Kharge said about this matter, “When the high command has clearly said that there is nothing like this in the decision making process, it does not matter who says. All the roles have been defined very well. Siddaramaiah is CM and DK Shivkumar is PCC President and Deputy Chief Minister.”

He further said, “Everyone is free to express their opinion on the right platform. If someone has any problem with the state leadership, then they need to talk to the party’s high command, not the media. There is no fire. There is no dissatisfaction. There is no problem in the face of CM. There is nothing to change in the face of CM.
