Nitish katara murder case: Vikas Yadav, convicted in the Nitish Katara murder case, will remain free from the court. The country’s largest court has extended the interim bail period of development by four weeks. Nitish Katara was murdered 23 years ago in 2002.
According to the information, due to the treatment of the health and disease of Vikas’s mother, the interim bail has been increased further. The Supreme Court has also changed the conditions of bail and asked the convict to stay at home to take care of the mother. But if needed, he can go out with her to treat the sick mother.
However, the Supreme Court clearly stated that on the basis of medical ground, it will not get interim bail further. Vikas was released by the court on interim bail on 28 April to take care of his ailing mother.
During the hearing, the Additional Solicitor General informed the court that his mother’s operation had been completed and only physiotherapy remains. The ASG also stated that Yadav’s affidavit states that his mother is capable of walking, although he is having difficulty in walking.
Remind you again that on 17 February 2002, Vikas Yadav and Vishal Yadav kidnapped and killed 25 -year -old Nitish Katara. Katara was the son of MBA Graduate and IAS officer. While the convict Vikas Yadav is the son of former Uttar Pradesh minister Dharampal Yadav.
The motive behind the murder was close to Nitish Katara with Vikas’s sister Bharti Yadav. To carry out the murder, he took the help of a contract killer named Sukhdev Yadav.
On 20 February 2002, the body of Nitish Katara was found burnt near Hapur Crossing in a village in Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh and was found to be badly crushed. After several years of investigation and hearing in the case, Vikas and Vishal Yadav were sentenced to 25 years imprisonment, while Sukhdev was sentenced to 20 years.
