Bristol: The Indian women’s cricket team also defeated England in the second consecutive T20 and made a 2-0 lead in the five-match series. In the match played at the county ground, Indian women batted first and hanged 181/4 runs on the scoreboard with the help of Jemima Rodriguez and Amanjot Kaur’s 63-63 runs.

In response, the English team was able to score 157 runs after losing seven wickets in 20 overs. After a crushing defeat by 24 runs, now the British would like to win the third and decisive match to be held at The Oval on July 4 or else they will lose the series. India won the first match by a huge margin of 97 runs.

Amanjot Kaur, who took a wicket for 28 runs after playing an unbeaten innings of 63 runs in 40 balls, has been adjudged the Player of the Match.
