Maharashtra School Education Department has released the first merit list of first year Junior College (FYJC) admission on 28 June. A total of 10,66,005 candidates applied for FYJC admission under CAP Round 1, out of which 2,31,356 applied for art, 2,24,931, commerce and 6,09,718 applied for science. Of these applicants, seats have been allotted to 6,32,194 in CAP Round 1, which is 1,49,791 in art, 1,39,602 in commerce and 3,42,801 in science.

Students whose names have now come, will have to get their admission in the allotted colleges within the stipulated time. Such students will have to finalize seats between June 30 and July 7. For this, students will have to upload the necessary documents in the allotted junior college and then file.

Within the deadline, students will have to report to the allotted college for document verification and payment of fixed fees and confirm their admission in the allotted junior college. If a student does not want to take admission in the allotted junior college, then he participates in the next round.

All processes related to admission like admission, rejection and cancellation of admission, all of this will have to be done on the college login dashboard. According to the official schedule, if the students agree, then new applicants can fill their choice and their registration will continue till the next round.

If a student wants to cancel his confirmed admission, they can request the concerned college for this and can cancel the admission. Students who have canceled their admission will be banned from the next regular round and can be considered only after the next round.

How much was the cutoff of St. Xavier’s College

St. Xavier’s College: Arts cutoff remained stable at 94.3%, while science cutoff increased from 91.6% to 93%.

Ruia College: Arts cutoff increased from 92.2% to 92.4%, and science cutoff increased from 93.4% to 94.4%. Now, after the admission is finalized under CAP Round 1, the list of vacancies for round 2 will be announced on 9 July.
