In Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow, the incident of police attack has once again come to light. In Nagaram area, three domineering vehicles clashed with the policeman. He not only abused the inspector, but also tore his uniform by assaulting him. The bullies even threatened to shoot the inspector. At present, the police have arrested one of the accused, while two are absconding. Teams are engaged in searching for them.
Let us tell you that the incident took place around 9 pm on Monday night, when Daroga Anuj Bhati, head constable Nitesh Kumar Verma, was returning after discussing a case. Then he saw a number plate bike parked between the road near Barkat Nagar intersection. Daroga started inquiries about the owner of the bike from the surrounding people. Meanwhile, Mahendra, sitting at a shop nearby, described the bike as a young man named Rahul.

Daroga Anuj alleges that when he asked Mahendra the bike papers, Dharmendra alias Biru, Rahul and Narendra, residents of Shankheda of Gosaiganj, also reached there and started abusing. On protesting, Rahul caught the collar of Daroga. Whereas, Dharmendra and Narendra got down on the fight. Seeing the situation uncontrollable, the police force had to be called from the police station. As soon as the police team arrived, the accused started running away. However, the police arrested the accused Dharmendra on the spot. However, Rahul and Narendra escaped.
In the case, ACP Mohanlalganj Rajinesh Verma said that a case has been registered under sections of injury and threatening on the accused. The absconding accused are being searched. Advance legal proceedings are going on.

Significantly, this is not the first incident, when the police has been attacked in UP. Even before this, there have been many incidents in the capital, in which policemen have suffered assault and attacks. In recent months, cases of attack on police have also been registered in areas like Mahigwan, Ashiana, Para and Gudamba.
