Shiv Sena Uddhav Camp has demanded soon to hear the case of party election symbol in the Supreme Court. Uddhav’s lawyer described the hearing as necessary due to the local body elections, but the Supreme Court refused to hear it immediately. A holiday bench headed by Justice MM Sundresh said that on July 16, the matter will be put in front of the regular bench.
Keep in mind that on 17 February 2023, the Election Commission on Shiv Sena Eknath Shinde ‘claim was found correct. The Commission had allotted the original election symbol of Shiv Sena to the Shinde faction. Uddhav Khema reached the Supreme Court against it. The matter is pending since then. On Wednesday (July 2, 2025), on behalf of Uddhav, senior advocate Devdutt Kamat demanded a quick hearing citing the local election. & Nbsp;
Opposing the demand for immediate hearing immediately, Shinde Camp’s lawyer said that after allotment of election symbols, there have been 2 important elections (Lok Sabha and Assembly). On May 7, the same demand was placed in front of a regular bench headed by Justice Surya Kant. The bench refused to hear soon. Now once again the same effort is being made in front of the vacation bench.
Uddhav’s lawyer said that he is demanding the same system, as Sharad Pawar-Azit Pawar of NCP has been given in controversy. On this, the judges said that they should keep their point on 16 July. Keep in mind that the Election Commission had allotted the clock of the party’s basic election symbol to the Ajit Pawar faction of NCP. The Supreme Court did not stop this, but had ordered that Ajit Pawar keeps writing in his advertisements that the case is under consideration in the court.
