Order to investigate renovation in former CM Kejriwal bungalow

Before the assembly elections in Delhi, BJP released a video of Kejriwal’s bungalow.

On February 13, the central government ordered an inquiry into the renovation in the bungalow at 6 Flag Staff Road of former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. However, no report has been revealed yet.

The BJP said that several rules were broken in the construction of a bungalow made in 40 thousand square yards (8 acres). More than Rs 45 crore was spent in its renovation. That is why it should be called Sheeshamahal. Kejriwal lived here from 2015 to 2024.

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva had complained to the Lieutenant Governor (LG) VK Saxena that Kejriwal’s bungalow was made incorrectly by mixing 4 government properties. This process should be canceled. BJP’s Chief Minister will not stay in this bungalow after the oath.

CBI investigated, spent 44.78 crores For the first time in May 2023, the case of ‘Sheeshmahal’ came to light. When Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena wrote a letter to CBI Director Praveen Sood and assigned the investigation of the CM House Renovation case.

In September 2023, the CBI filed a report in the case. It was alleged that former Delhi CM Kejriwal has spent about 45 crore rupees at CM residence during the Kovid period. This money was taken from the government treasury.
