South Kolkata Law College Sexually Assault Case Accused Manojit Mishra Lawyer Claims Love Bits on Boys Body

Kolkata rape case: The case of alleged gang rape of a 24 -year -old student at the prestigious South Kolkata Law College in Kolkata has shook the entire state. Three people have been arrested, including the main accused and former leader of the Trinamool Congress Student Unit, Manjit Mishra. Amid the seriousness of the incident, now many shocking claims have been made by the accused party, which has raised questions on both the direction and intention of this case.

Lawyer’s claim- “If there was rape, there would not have been love bytes”
Manjit Mishra’s lawyer Raju Ganguly said in a conversation with the media that the prosecution is only talking about the scratches that were found on the body, but he did not say that love bytes have also been found on the body of the accused. He said, “If someone is raped, how can there be love bights on his body?” Ganguly said that scratch marks have definitely been found in medical examination, which can be a sign of protest, but there are some marks which reflect the consent of the relationship. This makes this case more suspicious.

Questions on victim’s mobile and call details
The lawyer has also questioned the complaint made by the victim. He said that if such a big incident happened at 10:30 pm, then why was the FIR not registered till 4:45 pm the next day? He asked, “Did he tell his parents? Did the police seize his mobile? Did the forensic investigation? Did the call details be seen?” Ganguly says that all these questions can bring out the truth of this case, but the police and prosecution are ignoring them.

Questions raised on mobile videos
According to media reports in this case, a video has been found from Manojj’s phone, which is being called a potential ‘torture video’. While clarifying this, Ganguly said that that video is being introduced in the wrong context. Ganguly said, “That is not a video of a torture. If love bytes are on someone’s neck, you can understand what kind of video can be. Prosiction is hiding something.” He also said that whatever perception is being made about this video, it is completely misleading and the public is being misled.
