Chandrashekhar Azad, the national president of Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) and MP from Nagina, has been threatened with death through WhatsApp. In this case, on the complaint of party worker Sheikh Parvez, the police have registered an FIR against the unknown person and started investigation.

Threatened to kill within 10 days
According to the police, this threat was sent to the party’s helpline WhatsApp number. It was written in a threatening message that Chandrashekhar Azad would be killed within 10 days. After the threat, a case was registered at Nagina police station.

Nagina police station in -charge Tejpal Singh informed that Sheikh Parvez, a party worker and district convenor of the Muslim Bhaichara Committee, had given a written complaint. On the basis of this complaint, a case has been registered against the unknown person under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the investigation process has started.

Chandrasekhar’s party on alert
According to the party, Chandrashekhar Azad has been continuously raising voice for the interests of Dalit, backward and minority class, due to which he has received many threats before. But this time the threat is considered very serious because it has given direct warning of murder.

Police investigating phone number
Police said that the help of cyber cell is being taken to identify the person sending the message. The phone number is being checked and traced. In terms of security, the local administration has also been alerted for the security of Chandrashekhar Azad. Significantly, Chandrashekhar Azad has reached Parliament after winning Nagina seat in the recent Lok Sabha elections.
