Two heartbreaking incidents of murder from two different cities in Odisha have come to light. In both cases, the relationship of love ended at a dreadful turn. In one case, the young man killed his girlfriend, while in the other a young man killed his childhood friend, because he started to love his girlfriend. The police is investigating both the cases. After the murder of girlfriend, lover surrendered in police station
The first incident is from the city of Barhampur in Odisha. Here on Tuesday, a 24 -year -old youth killed his girlfriend with a knife. After committing the crime, he went to the hospital and got his treatment first. After this, he went straight to the police station and surrendered. The incident took place in a lodge in the new bus stand area. According to the police, Abhay Kumar Moharana is a resident of Lanjipalli area. He reached the lodge at 11:30 am.
Shortly after this, his girlfriend Priya Kumari also reached Moharana. The two spent a few hours together. After this, at around 3 pm, Abhay suddenly stabbed Priya with a knife, due to which he died on the spot. After the murder, Abhay reached the hospital to treat his hand injury. After treatment, he went directly to the Gosaninuagaon police station and confessed his crime.
SP Saravan Vivek M, SP of Barhampur, said that the accused has been arrested. Initial investigation has revealed that there was a dispute between the two about the marriage. The police has also received information that this couple was found in the same lodge three times before. The body has been sent for post -mortem. A case has been registered against the accused under the relevant sections of the Indian Justice Code.
Friend murdered for girlfriend, body thrown into a well
The second incident is from Bolngir district of Odisha. Here the incident of murder has come to light among a love triangle. Kunja Majhi, a resident of Dumrachuan village in Kantabanji area of ​​the district, was murdered by his childhood friend Satya Nag. In this work, the truth was helped by another partner Shankar Gharsel. Police investigation has revealed that Satya used Kunja’s mobile phone to talk to his girlfriend.
After some time, he suspected that Kunja is also talking to his girlfriend. When the suspicion deepened, he warned the friend. But the virgin did not agree. After this, on the night of 20 June, Satya conspired to kill him. He called Kunja to a deserted area. There he and Shankar together made several blows on the virgin with an iron rod and killed him. Filled the body in a sack and threw it in the well.
On June 29, some villagers saw the dead body in the well. Informed the police. The body was taken out. Already registered was identified on the basis of missing reports. In addition to Bolangir, SP Alok Jena said that the police have arrested both the accused. Kunja’s mobile, rod used in murder and several evidence have been recovered from the scene. Girlfriend will also be brought under investigation.
