A case of raping a 22 -year -old technical engineer in Pune and raping the house has come to light. The accused came as a courier boy. The incident took place under the Kondhwa police station at around 7.30 pm on Wednesday evening.
He entered the flat on the pretext of giving the bank envelope. When the woman went inside the house to take a pin for a courier, the accused closed the door and raped her.
The woman fainted during the attack and fainted for several hours. Officials are investigating whether the accused sprayed any chemical on him or not.
The Pune police formed 10 teams to locate and tighten the accused, out of which 5 were crime branch and 5 local teams. The police also investigated CCTV footage.
However, in the afternoon, media reports claimed that the police arrested the accused. And his questioning is going on.

The accused also took a selfie on the victim’s phone, in which his back and a little face was visible. He left a message on the phone, in which he warned the girl not to tell anyone about it because he has pictures of the girl, he would make them viral on social media. He also wrote- I will come again.
Brother went out, IT engineer was alone at home
Zone 5 Pune City DCP Rajkumar Shinde said that the girl has studied IT from a college in Pune. She works in a private firm. She was alone in her apartment on Wednesday evening as her brother went out of the city.
Shinde told that the girl does not remember anything because she regained consciousness at around 8.30 pm. He then informed his relatives and later told the police. The victim was sent for medical examination, then a case was registered.
