Former Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik shared a video of the assault on the officer on social media.
BJP leader Jagannath Pradhan has been arrested in the beating of the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Additional Commissioner in Odisha. He surrendered before the police on Thursday evening. So far 6 people have been arrested in the case.
Pradhan said- ‘I have come to cooperate in the investigation. If my arrest resolves the matter, then I am ready to cooperate. He also alleged that an attempt was being made to discredit him and his party.
In fact, the BJP leader is accused of beating his supporters (BMC) Additional Commissioner Ratnakar Sahu during public hearing. The video of the fight went viral on social media. In the video, 6-8 people were abusing Sahu and continuously punching.

Patnaik further said- I appeal to Mohan Charan Majhi that strict action should be taken against those who carried out this shameful attack. Even more important is that immediate and strict action should be taken against the political leaders involved in this conspiracy. People whose names in the FIR have treated in a criminal manner.
