When was the exam
NTA conducted the examination from 13 May to 3 June. The agency conducted a re -examination for those candidates on June 2 and 4, whose examinations were scheduled on 13 and 16 May.

A total of 13.48 lakh students appear in the exam
The examination was held in a fully computer based test (CBT) mode. Section I consisted of 13 languages, section II included 23 domain-specific subjects, and section III included a general qualification examination. The question paper was available in the regional language selected by English and candidates. Five marks were given for each correct answer and one point was deducted for each wrong answer. In 2024, the Cuet UG exam was conducted in both CBT and pen-pepper methods. After complaints regarding the examination conducting the examination, the examination was re -conducted on July 19 for about 1,000 candidates. The final answer key was released on 25 July. A total of 13.48 lakh students appeared in the examination.
