Himachal has received 55 percent more rainfall than normal since the monsoon entry.

On 6 and 7 July, heavy rains have been warned in Una, Hamirpur, Bilaspur Chamba, Kangra and Mandi districts. Since the monsoon entry, 55 percent more than normal and 171 percent more cloudy than normal in the last one week. Mandi district received 456 percent more rainfall than normal.
This heavy rains have caused major damage in the district. According to the Meteorological Department, between 26 June and 3 July, Mandi receives 58.3 mm normal rainfall, but this time 324.4 mm of rain has been received during this period. In this too, about 75 percent of the rainfall has been between 12 pm on Monday night and 8 am on Tuesday.
399% more rainfall than normal in Shimla
After Mandi, Shimla district also received 399 percent more rainfall than normal. During this period, Shimla receives 34.6 mm normal rainfall. However, this time it has rained 172.8 mm. Solan also has a cloud of 280 percent more than normal.
Not even a single drop in Lahaul Spiti
Lahaul Spiti is the only district in the state where not even a drop of monsoon season. Chamba district has received 1 percent more rainfall than normal. All other districts have received much more rainfall than normal.
