Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently on a two -day visit to Caribbean countries Trinidad and Tobago. This is the second phase of his visit to five countries. He was given a grand welcome at Piyarco International Airport in Rajdhani Port of Spain here. He was given the Guard of Honor here.
Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Kamla Prasad Bisacer welcomed PM Modi at the airport with his entire cabinet. During this time 38 ministers and four MPs of his cabinet were present. PM Kamla herself wore a traditional Indian dress saree. Along with him, many ministers and MPs also appeared in Indian costumes, which reflects the cultural connection between the two countries.
The sixth of Indian culture appeared in PM Modi’s reception. The Indian community there welcomed PM Modi by waving the tricolor flag and singing traditional folk songs. This cultural performance was a symbol of deep historical and cultural relations between the two countries.
In the Port of Spain, there was tremendous enthusiasm among people of Indian origin about the arrival of PM Modi. People performed tricolor in their hands and traditional dances were performed. PM Modi also greeted the Indian community by responding to this warmth.
BJP leader Amit Malviya posted that PA Modi was given a historic welcome in Port of Spain. The entire cabinet of Prime Minister Kamla Prasad Bisacer and Trinadad and Tobago was present at the airport to welcome PM Modi. 38 ministers and four MPs welcomed PM Modi, which shows respect for the leadership of PM Modi on the global stage.
Please tell that this is PM Modi’s first official bilateral journey of Trinidad and Tobago. This is the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister after 1999. More than 40 percent of the population of Trinidad and Tobago is of Indian origin. The President, Prime Minister and Lok Sabha speakers here are also of Indian origin. It also makes special.
Addressing the Indian community, PM Modi also mentioned the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya and Mahakumbh. He also presented Kamla Prasad Bisacer to the Ram temple’s replica and the holy water of the Saryu River.
