According to the Bengaluru police, the cause of the accident is a 7-8-year-old dispute over money. The complainant has claimed that he had given a loan of 5 lakhs to the family to the burn the house, but he quarreled and set fire to the gate of the house.
Neighbors extinguished the fire in time and took out the family members. No one was hurt, but the front part of the house and the windows were burnt.
After the incident, an FIR has been lodged at Viveknagar police station and the investigation of the case is going on. Police is taking action based on CCTV footage and efforts are being made to arrest the accused.

According to the police, the house which was tried to burn is of Venkataramani and his son Satish. Satish said in the complaint that the accused Subramani is his relative. The case is about 7-8 years old when his father Venkataramani lent Rs 5 lakh to his relative Parvati for his daughter Mahalakshmi’s wedding.
Despite asking several times, the money was not returned. Recently, this issue arose in a family wedding. After arguing with Parvati and her husband Subharani, the matter reached a quarrel and threat.

On 1 July, when Satish was at work, his mother called him and told him that a person was set on fire by putting petrol on the main doors, shoes cupboards and window. At that time Venkataramani and Satish’s brother Mohan Das were present in the house.

Later in the CCTV footage, Subharani was seen entering the house with a bottle of petrol. He put petrol on the place of shoes and the window and set fire to the match. The fire spread so fast that he himself narrowly survived his grip.
