His autobiography The One is coming to the life of former Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan. He announced this by posting a video on Instagram.

Dhawan told the news agency ANI that my book does not just talk about the cricket field. This is the story of those stages of my life, unseen moments, and difficult days when I had to face injuries and challenges. This book tells how I am where I am today.

The One includes Dhawan’s dream of Dhawan’s dreams of wearing Indian jersey in Delhi and India’s most trusted opener in ODI cricket. There will be great moments of his cricket career in the book, but it will also have stories of his personal life challenges, injuries and stories of secret return.

Dhawan has retired from all three formats Dhawan has retired from all formats of cricket. He said goodbye to his magnificent career through an emotional post on Instagram. Dhawan scored 6,793 runs in 167 ODIs at an average of 44.1, including 17 centuries and 39 half -centuries. In Test cricket, he scored 2,315 runs in 34 matches at an average of 40.6, with seven centuries and five half -centuries. In T20, he scored 1,759 runs in 68 matches. In first class cricket, he has 8,499 runs in 122 matches.
