The news of a painful road accident has come out from Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh on Friday afternoon. A school bus, in which 40 students were aboard, went uncontrolled near Sushahatpur village. A child named 8 -year -old Shahnawaz died in the accident, while about 10 students were injured. After the incident, there was chaos in the area.
ASP Durgesh Singh of Sitapur informed that as soon as the bus reached near Sushahatpur village, Shahnawaz, a resident of Guari village, suddenly came on the road. The bus driver turned fast in an attempt to save the child, but she not only hit Shahnawaz but the bus also overturned uncontrollably.
The injured Shahnawaz was immediately taken to CHC Rampur Mathura, but the doctors there declared him dead. Police has sent the body of the child for postmortem. At the same time, with the help of policemen and local villagers who reached the spot, the students trapped in the bus were taken out and the injured children were sent to the Community Health Center for treatment.
According to the police, about 10 out of a total of 40 students in the bus suffered injuries, who have been discharged after initial treatment. Thankfully, most of the children did not suffer serious injuries, but the death of an innocent has made the entire village smell.
The police is investigating the case and it is also being ascertained whether the bus driver had any negligence or it was a completely unfortunate accident. No official statement has been revealed by the school management at the moment.
