The film ‘Border 2’ has created a ruckus. On the casting of Diljit Dosanjh, FWICE (The Federation of Western India Cine Employees) sent a letter to the producers of the film. In this, he demanded that Diljit Dosanjh be removed from the film. The scenes of their share should be hired and shot again to another actor.
Actually, this whole matter has started after working with Diljit’s Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in ‘Sardar Ji 3’. The release of the film has been stopped in India. It was also being claimed in the reports that Bhushan Kumar would drop Diljit with ‘Border 2’. But on July 2, Diljit confirmed his presence by sharing a video related to this film on social media.
FWICE leader’s statement
Recently, FWICE leader BN Tiwari has given some updates on this matter in a conversation with India Today. He said- We have met Bhushan Kumar many times. He told us that the shoot of the film is almost complete. There is a small post left, in which the shooting of the song is left. He told us that if Diljit is removed from the film at this time, then the production will suffer a lot. That’s why we also thought that they are right, we have removed the ban from ‘Border 2’.
Ashok Pandit also expressed his opinion
Ashok Pandit, advisor of the actor, FWICE Committee, has also told that Bhushan Kumar has given in writing that he will never cast Diljit Dosanjh for any film again under his production. Ashok said- 80-85 percent of the film has been shot. Diljit’s work is almost complete. Bhushan Kumar has sought permission from the Federation to let the film be completed and in future he will never cast Diljit. On this, we are going to give a letter to the Federations soon.
Ashok further said- We do not want the producer of the industry to face financial trouble. The rest of the filmmakers will not be allowed to work with Diljit. Further, in the future, whoever works above us with Diljit, then he will suffer financially and there will be no mistake of the Federation. For now, we have thought that support the producer in this situation.
BN Tiwari said- We do not want the whole team to suffer losses due to one person. The film also stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan and Ahaan Shetty. We support those people. He has a big character in the film. There have also been good relationships with production with production. So we thought that we remove the ban. Apart from this, there is no Pakistani actor in the film. The film is made on our army and national issues. That is why we have accepted Bhushan Kumar’s request and the team has agreed to work with Diljit.
Let us know that ‘Border 2’ will be released on the occasion of Republic Day in the coming year.
