CBI’s grip is now tightening in the case of recognizing the medical college. In this case, a case has been registered against Rawatpura Sarkar alias Ravi Shankar Maharaj as well as 35 nominees. All of them are accused of corruption.
The CBI investigation has revealed many disturbances in the Index Medical College.
DP Singh also made accused The name of former Vice Chancellor of Devi Ahilya DP Singh has been revealed in the case. He is also an accused. He is currently the Chancellor of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. He was the chairman of UGC before becoming a Chancellor here in April 2024. Prior to this post, he held the post of Vice Chancellor of Goddess Ahilya University of Indore. He has also been the Vice Chancellor of BHU. He is accused that he played a role in getting Rawatpura Sarkar Medical College a positive report of NMC. The CBI is investigating the entire case.
Information was available from the officer of the center The CBI has registered a case of cheating on 35 people, including Suresh Bhadoria, Chairman of Index Medical College, Indore, for getting medical colleges and getting a bribe. According to the investigating agency, Bhadoria was playing an active role in fake recognition and renewal in the Renewal. Instead, he used to recover a huge amount.
Ministry official Chandan Kumar has also been accused in the FIR. He used to give Bhadoria confidential information related to NMC inspection, such as when the team will come, who will be members, the date of inspection etc. Bhadoria has become underground as soon as the case is registered on 30 June.
Fake fraud from Rawatpuri Medical College CBI investigation started from Rawatpura government Medical College. It is from here that the network of medical colleges spread across the country was revealed. Investigation revealed that there are more than 40 colleges who are involved in this fraud of recognition. The name of Index Medical College also came up during this period. In the FIR, Bhadoria has been accused of number 25.
Investigations also revealed that a large broker network is active for nexus with NMC. It had a partnership of Bhadoria and Rawatpura Sarkar alias Ravi Shankar Maharaj. Both are residents of Lahar in Bhind. The Index Group includes medical, dental, pharmacy, paramedical and management colleges, which are affiliated to Malwanchal University. Bhadoria conducts this university and Mayank Welfare Society.
Bhadoria is accused of getting favorable recognition from the chairman and director of colleges by taking 3 to 5 crore rupees, even if the institutes do not live up to the NMC standards. Bhadoria appointed temporary doctors in the college and described them as permanent faculty during NMC inspection. For this, fingerprint was clicked in the biometric attendance system and fake thumb impression was shown and regular attendance.
