Donkey route: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is taking action on the Dunki Root case. Under this, 2 more people who sent 2 more people on Friday (July 4, 2025) have been arrested for joining the Human trafficking gang.

These arrests took place after raids conducted in Himachal Pradesh and Delhi. According to the NIA, the names of the arrested accused, Sunny alias Sunny Dankar, who hails from Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh and Shubham Sandhal alias Deep Hundi, who is from Rupnagar, Punjab. Shubham was living in Piragadhi area of ​​Delhi. Both of them are said to be close partners of accused Gagandeep Singh alias Goldie, who had already been arrested.

Gagandeep Singh was arrested by the NIA in March this year on the complaint of a man who was sent to the US from Danki Route and was sent from America and sent back to India.

America sent more than 100 people by Danki Route
Gagandeep had recovered about 45 lakhs in the name of sending people from people to America. He used to send people to America via countries like Spain, L-Salavador, Guatemala and Mexico by pretending to be a valid visa. Investigation has revealed that he has sent more than 100 people to America in this illegal manner so far.

Sunny was the biggest partner of Gagandeep in this gang and managed people’s journey on Danki route. In this path, the victims have to face a lot of suffering mentally and physically.

Shubham used to work to deliver money through hawala in this gang. He used to deliver a part of the amount taken from India to Dankar agents present in Latin America. The NIA took this case from the Punjab Police on 13 March 2025 and in the investigation so far, many important clues related to this gang have been found.
