Muzaffarnagar: A high speed truck collided with e-rickshaws, the death of mother-son, seven injured including four children-Mother Son duo Killed 7 injured in road accident in Muzaffarnagar Up LCLK

A woman and her three -year -old son were killed and seven people, including four children, were injured in a tragic road accident in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. The accident occurred near Khatauli Mor in Budhana town, when a high speed truck hit the e-rickshaw coming from the front.

Jurisdictional (CO) Gajendra Pal Singh told the media that all the people in the e-rickshaw were going to the city with some private work, when the high speed truck hit him directly. The collision was so tremendous that the e-rickshaw was completely damaged and the people sitting in it were seriously injured.

Soon after the accident, all the injured were rushed to the district hospital with the help of local people. During treatment, 35 -year -old Chand Bibi and his 3 -year -old son Ali died due to serious injuries. Treatment of other injured is going on in the district hospital, out of which the condition of two is said to be critical.

Police said that after the accident, the truck driver escaped from the spot and left the truck there. The police have started investigation by taking the truck in possession. The bodies of the dead have been sent for postmortem.

CO Gajendra Pal Singh said, “We are searching for its owner and driver based on the registration number of the truck, soon the accused will be arrested.”

This accident not only raises questions on the administration, but is also an example of negligence of heavy vehicles running on the streets. There is an atmosphere of anger and panic among the people due to such accidents happening on the day. The police is investigating the case and assured to provide all possible assistance to the victim’s family.
