,

When thought of doing PhD, the children suggested that CA should be prepared for one of the most difficult exams in the country. The granddaughter said- When you can guide me, why can’t you do it yourself? With this belief, Tarachand caught the path of CA.

Decided in 2021, CA became in 2025 Tarachand registered for CA in July 2021. Foundation cleared in May 2022. Passed Intermediate in January 2023. In May 2024, he gave the final atampt. Did not succeed. After this, he took the final examination again in May 2025. This time achieved success.

Tarachand told- I never stopped reading. He did many training even while in the bank. In 1988, Caiib cleared the Indian Institute of Bankers.

After retiring from the bank, Tarachand Aggarwal started reading again at the behest of the children.

Geeta handled, granddaughters extended Tarachand says- There was a lot of emptiness after the wife left in 2020. Children and grandchildren lived with me, but did not feel like. Then started reading the Gita on the advice of the children. It drowned so much that the reading habit came back. One day told the children- I also do something. BCom is done. I should do PhD. The children said- CA. This is difficult, but will get recognition. Then the granddaughter said- you can. The children brought laptops and registered.

He told- My Tauji used to teach Geeta. He said, do the work, do it. Since then, this is the habit, I give 100 percent in what I do. I did not take it seriously in inter. Used to study while sitting at the counter. Meanwhile, if the customer used to come, then the books would be closed and the customer would start attending. Due to this, I failed in the final.

Then thought that now you have to study in isolation. There was trouble in my left and right shoulder. Due to this, there were problems in writing. My result came in January. After that I started reading 10 hours. Practice to write Daily 2 to 4 hours. The module continued to solve the paper. This made my practice of writing good.

Tarachand studied at the son’s store.

Not coaching, the exam was taken out at the showroom counter Tarachand said- CA did not take any coaching. Just watched some videos from YouTube and prepared themselves with the help of books. I read and read every subject. He tried to understand those who were about to be the subjects. I used to live alone in the house, I did not feel like coming to the young son’s general store. At the same time, he used to sit on the counter and study. Intermediate studies were also done at the showroom. The exam cleared.

They believe that there is no depth in today’s studies, just the exam has been limited to passing. In earlier times, there was an emphasis on understanding the whole topic.

When he went to give the exam, the children thought I had come to take the paper. I have a habit of getting mixed up, so he used to become friends quickly. They used to say-You are giving exams with us, it looks great.

Tarachand Agarwal with his family.

Family became the biggest support Tarachand told- The family stood with me from the beginning. The elder son Lalit Agarwal is CA. Practice in Delhi. Younger son Amit Aggarwal is in tax practice. Both daughters also became a source of inspiration.

Bank joined at the age of 22, retired as AGM Tarachand told- We are originally from Sangaria (Hanumangarh). 8 are at number four among siblings. My father used to do farming and business. The schooling took place from Sangaria and was married to Darshana Aggarwal in 1974. In 1976, he was admitted to the post of Clerk in State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur. The first posting took place in Anupgarh (Sriganganagar). Stayed there till 1986. The C-Scheme Branch Head became the head in Jaipur in 1999. Bikaner was transferred in the middle, then returned to Jaipur in 2006. In 2002, the Maharani Farm started living there permanently. In 2014, she retired from the post of Assistant General Manager.

Now people say – CA Uncle has come Tarachand told- Now people say ‘CA Uncle’, not the ‘offer of showrooms’. People send their children for guidance. The one who struggles himself can show the right direction to others. I just tell the children of today that nothing will happen by fear, hard work is the way.
